Still have brake fluid? I had a '99 s10 that blew out the passenger front rubber line.
What exactly is "mashed"? Regular apply force or did you slam the pedal to the floor like you would the gas going WOT?

ummm...why?
So does it have fluid in the reservoir? Have you checked the lines under the truck?

There has to be a leak in your brake line somewhere because of the mash you probly built up to much pressure and ruptured them. Even if its just a small crack in the hose. Have someone underneath the truck and look to see if there is any fluid leaking when u push on them. Thats what me and my dad did to my old 66 Chystler 300. the brakes werent working so we did that and found out there was an air build up in it.

bleed your brakes, get out any air that could be in the lines.

Make sure you bleed the system well. Did you reroute the new line?

u should consider upgrading to steal braided break lines to prevent the same problem.

John, if you read the rest of the thread, you would have seen that with his lowering kit, the a-arm rubbed a hole in a hose, and he fixed the problem for 25 dollars.
