im confuse..... i did my oli cahnge a wile back everything runs good
but then later the engine has like no oil its asy to tell becuse it starst to sound all funny..
i dont know if its burning it or what is go9ing on, but i find my self putting another quart of oil in the engine after that is all back to normal
any help is appreciated?????????????

we had one awhile back that burned oil..wed have to put about a quart in halfway in between oil changes

If your exhaust is shooting out white smoke after its warmed up then it usually means that its burning oil.

and ya it gives out white smoke wile in idle

...Not out your exhaust pipes it doesn't. Mine was burning oil awhile back and it was shooting white smoke out the exhaust.

you were probably burning coolant and oil from a leaky head gasket, because of that 6lb pulley, ive heard of some Ls blowing head gaskets because of that before,oil does not burn white. How many miles are on your truck

my old POS burns blue smoke on start up. i see a bluish cloud raising from the gap between my bed and cab.

No I wasn't burning coolant, it was oil that I was burning. Weather or not you say it burns blue. Mine burned white and it was oil, and I have proof it was.
