The truck will eventually be black.
Either that or bright orange.
Something different haha.
I've only seen one other truck with it done like that.
not a big fan of tinting or colormatching the taillights.
i would say leave it how it is until you get the truck painted.

Do it on the older truck, doesn't look right on the newer.

if you do it dark enough it makes it look like the trim is extended... like a wrap around effect, like your hiding the lights... on the new truck.... eh, smoked would look better

i like how the c10 would look, but the newer one i say that if you do anything to the taillights get it painted to the same color as the trucks paint none of that smoked/tinted crap.
I think Black on Black on Black on the Black Truck would look good. ;)
Get rid of the chrome bumber for a vblack rollpan, Black Rims with Polished Lip, and blacked out headlights, and tint.. with a good 2/4 drop and it would look killer...
I wanted a Black Truck, but the Single Cab Bright White Was rarer then the Club Cab Black R/T I was looking at, and weighed less for better ET and Worse Traction.. lol
I love Black cars blacked out.. they look mean from hell..
check this guys R/T out.. i love it. He use to have Black 20s on it, but it still looks good.
